Verify, alert and talk — by phone call
Voice is the next channel on SMSRay: missed-call verification, call alerts and voice OTP on the same platform that delivers your SMS. Nothing on this page is live yet — join the early access list and we'll tell you first.

SMSRay Voice is in development. There are no voice endpoints in the API today and we don't give dates we can't keep. Everything below describes what we're building; details may change before launch.
First up
Three things a phone call does better
These come first, built on the platform, API and dashboard SMSRay already runs.
Missed-call verification
Your user calls a number we show them. We check the caller ID against the number they entered, then reject the call — so it costs the user nothing and there's no code to type.
- 1User taps “verify by call”
- 2They ring a number we show
- 3We match the caller ID and hang up
- 4Your app gets the result
Call alerts
A ring-and-hang call from a known number for things that can't wait — a server down, a large withdrawal, a delivery at the door. A ringing phone gets noticed when a text might not.
- 1Your system triggers an alert
- 2We ring the number briefly
- 3The call ends before it's answered
- 4You see the attempt in the dashboard
Voice OTP
The same six-digit code, read aloud in a phone call — for users who can't receive SMS, use a landline or need an accessible alternative.
- 1Same OTP send and verify flow
- 2Choose voice as the channel
- 3We call and read the code
- 4Verify exactly as you do today
Then
From alerts to conversations
After the first three, Voice grows into menus, announcements and agents — all on the same key and dashboard.
